Steve Nabity
Steve is the Managing Partner of Skyline Point Capital, a real estate investment company focused on multifamily acquisitions across the United States. Steve has experience across retail, industrial and multifamily investing and currently owns over 4,000 units in Nashville, Dallas, Omaha and several other cities across the southeastern United States as both a General Partner and Limited Partner.
Prior to founding Skyline Point Capital, Steve was CEO of Tekbrands, a portfolio of consumer brands focused on the quilting market that distributes products globally through retail and ecommerce. Tekbrands was successfully sold to private equity in 2021.
Steve holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State, an MBA from Kansas University, and an Executive Management degree from Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and a monthly contributor for Forbes on topics around real estate and investing.
Steve and his wife Lynette have been married for 43 years, and they have the two greatest kids on earth and one in Heaven. He’s happiest playing with the grandchildren, in the great outdoors, racing Ironman Triathlons, or traveling with family.
Jake Prieur
Head of Marketing & Operations
Jake is the Head of Marketing & Operations for Skyline Point Capital and is responsible for the company’s marketing, property acquisition and investor relations strategies. Before joining the SPC team, he was Co-Founder and COO of a B2B content marketing agency based in Omaha, NE.
His background also includes operations and marketing for Northwestern Mutual and financial, operations and marketing for Union Pacific Railroad. His passion for excellence in the details and solving new problems is what gets him up each morning.
Jake is a graduate of the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University and is married with two beautiful daughters. They enjoy spending their time traveling and being active outside as a family.
Ruchik Chauhan
Ruchik is the lead underwriter for Skyline Point Capital. He is responsible for underwriting all prospective deals, analyzing submarkets and competitor properties, and making recommendations for acquiring assets. Ruchik has extensive underwriting experience in analyzing core, core-plus, and value-add deals across several regions of the US.
Before joining SPC, Ruchik worked as a real estate underwriter and an equity analyst. In the past, he also consulted with TIAA-CREF for their wealth managers.
Ruchik holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Babson College where he was a President’s Scholar.
Michael Roeder
Michael Roeder is a Principal at Granite Towers Equity Group. Michael oversees asset management, acquisitions and investor relations. Michael’s commitment to Granite Tower’s success stems from his desire to help others create financial freedom and to help give back to children in need. Michael currently resides in the state of MN and obtained a bachelors of science degree from St. Cloud State University.
He is married and has two young daughters. Michael has been investing in real estate starting in 2009.
Dan Brisse
Dan Brisse is a Principal at Granite Towers Equity Group. Dan oversees asset management, acquisitions and investor relations. Dan’s commitment to the success of Granite Towers is rooted in his desire to help others gain financial freedom allowing them to live their best lives. His passion for real estate and philanthropy is always embedded in his daily guidance, which keeps Granite Towers growing in a healthy direction.
Dan currently resides in the state of Washington and has been a professional snowboarder for more than a decade with multiple X Games Gold Medals. He is married and has two young boys.
Mary Kay O’Connor-Wente
Previously, as Chief Stores Officer of Charlotte Russe and Peek Kids, Mary Kay served as a Company Officer Responsible for $1B in volume and led an organization of 550 stores, 16K+ associates and oversaw Operations, Real Estate, Construction Design, Facilities, and Customer Service. Previously, Mary Kay served in executive leadership roles at The Children’s Place, Ann Taylor, Express, and Victoria’s Secret.
Mary Kay holds a BA in Behavioral Science from the University of San Diego. She completed advanced leadership programs at Harvard Business School’s Executive Program and received her Executive Coaching Board Certification in 2016 from the Weatherhead School of Management and Executive Education at Case Western Reserve University.
She and her husband Jim split their time between Omaha Nebraska and Sonoma California where they manage their real estate investments in beautiful wine country.
